Yuki Sonoda Spends Christmas in Boracay!
What’s Christmas like in Boracay?
Happy New Year, everyone! 🎍✨ I’ll be continuing to update my column this year, so please stay tuned 😊What did you all do for Christmas and New Year? 🎄

I ended up going back to Boracay Island again 🌴(I just can’t help myself when I have a long vacation 😝) I made some new discoveries on the island, so I’d love to share them with you ✨

How I Got to Boracay
※Once again, I was able to go through the same route without being charged as a foreigner and paid the local rates. If you think you look confident enough to pass as a local, give it a try 😆

I’ve mentioned how to get to Boracay in a previous column, so check it out here!

Henna Tattoos
One of the things I enjoy the most when I visit Boracay is getting a henna tattoo ✨This time, since there was a movie shoot, I asked for it in a less noticeable spot 🎥 (Don’t worry, it fades away in two weeks 😊)

I always get one to boost my resort vibe 😂🌴 My friend got a Filipino fast-food henna tattoo 🍔🍟 (Jollibee, McDonald’s, Andoks – which has delicious chicken 🍗)
Coconut Ice Cream
When it comes to desserts in Boracay, you can’t miss Cocomama 🫣
I ate it every day before heading back to the hotel 🍰✨✨

They have a few locations, but this one is especially nice 🏝️

Main Activity on the Island
I finally got to try parasailing, something I’ve been curious about for a while 🪂 As I walked along the beach, many guys offered their services, so I asked three and went with the cheapest option 💸

I timed it for sunset, and it was incredible to see the entire view of Boracay 🌅 They even let me borrow a 360-degree camera, and it was Php 1,500 per person for 15 minutes 📸! It was 3,000 pesos for two people 💰 If you visit, I highly recommend you try this activity – it’s the best one by far! 🌟

Dinner at Sirena Seafood Restaurant
The last time I was in Boracay, I dined at a restaurant in Shangri-La Boracay, and it was so good! The food, scenery, service, and even the live band made it such a memorable experience 🎶

You don’t have to stay at the hotel to eat at the restaurant 🍽️
※You can make a reservation by phone📞

Found a Romantic Restaurant by the Beach
While I was strolling along the beach, enjoying the sunset, I discovered a lovely restaurant 🌅 The entrance had fresh seafood on display, and you could choose what you want, then they’d cook it for you at the live kitchen 🍤🍽️

I really loved the atmosphere and service, but my favorite part was when the children of the restaurant sang for us🎶

It seemed like they were raising funds to support the kids 💖 (I probably visited on Christmas Eve 🎄)

Puka Beach and Maui
When I go to Boracay, there’s one place I always visit – Puka Beach, located on the northern side of the island 🏖️ I met Maui at Puka Beach five years ago, and he’s been my tour guide ever since 🚶♂️(If you visit Puka Beach, look out for Maui! 👀)

I always talk about Maui but forgot to take a picture with him 😂 However, his look totally matches his personality, so you’ll definitely recognize him 😆
This time, he took me to a cave 🕵️♂️ The photographers at Puka Beach are great at taking pictures with smartphones 📸✨ Here’s a shot from the cave 🦇 Since Puka Beach isn’t crowded, it’s the perfect chill spot aside from private hotel beaches 🌊

That’s a wrap on my Boracay trip! 🌴 I’ll be posting a video about Boracay soon on TEAM KOHYU’s YouTube, so stay tuned 🎥✨
Until next time! Thank you💕
💕Love, Yuki
