  • CAAP Releases List of Airports with LGU Clearance to Resume Commercial Flights
  • The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) released a full list of airports in the country that were granted approval from respective local government units (LGUs) to resume operations of commercial flights.

    As of June 18, 26 airports in the country were given a go signal from LGUs to resume the operations of commercial flights. Some airports, however, are still subject to different documentary and passenger LGU restrictions while allowing commercial flights as per CAAP’s Facebook post advisory.

    Airports to resume commercial flights are as follows:

    • Romblon Airport
    • Naga Airport
    • Manila International Airport
    • Clark International Airport
    • Cauayan Airport
    • Palanan Airport
    • Laguindingan Airport
    • Dipolog Airport
    • Pagadian Airport
    • Borongan Airport
    • Antique Airport
    • Masbate Airport
    • Mactan-Cebu International Airport
    • Tacloban Airport
    • Legazpi Airport
    • Ormoc Airport
    • Catbalogan Airport
    • San Jose Airport
    • Catarman Airport
    • Ozamis Airport

    Meanwhile, 6 airports are set to start commercial flights on later dates:

    • Basco Airport (July 1)
    • Virac Airport (July 1)
    • Surigao Airport (August)
    • Siargao Airport (September 1)
    • San Vicente Airport (July 1)
    • Busuanga Airport (July 1)

    On the other hand, 17 airports are still not yet allowed to resume commercial flights including Bohol-Panglao International Airport, Kalibo International Airport, Caticlan Airport, and Laoag International Airport among others.
