5 Exciting Activities for Kids this Summer 2019
Summer, as we all know it, is one of the seasons that everyone anticipates every year – especially for kids! Summer is truly a time to make memories and learn new things. Apart from the usual events and workshops during summer – there are other fun ways to spend this vacation!
This summer is jam-packed with exciting activities and events for the little ones. Here’s a list of some of the activities that your little ones can enjoy this summer season!
Mind Museum’s Astro Camp: Camp Cosmos

Happening on March 30 to 31, 2019, The Mind Museum’s Astro Camp: Camp Cosmos at Ten Cents to Heaven Leisure Camp allows kids (and adults!) to learn more about the grandeur of our galaxy. Apart from stargazing, there will also be an opportunity to learn about constellations as well as lessons on how to use the telescope. Apart from stargazing, there will also be arts and crafts activities for the campers!

Ayala Museum’s st’ART Program 2019

Ayala Museum brings back its st’ART program with Adulting for Kids: Life Skills through Art! They will be hosting six comprehensive and engaging workshops that utilize art as a way to focus on a skill or characteristic for kids to not only have fun with but also appreciate. The workshops start on April 6, 2019, and are open to kids aged 7 to 12 years old. All workshops will be held at the Ayala Museum.

Underwater Adventure: Easter Party 2019

Who says you need a beach to have some underwater fun? Catch Underwater Adventure: Easter Party 2019 happening on April 21, 2019, at the Shangri-La Plaza! The event is open to kids 1 to 12 years old. There is a registration fee of Php 500 per child which is inclusive of special treats, shows, and giveaways. Registration starts on March 25, 2019.

Mind Museum’s Junior Mover Program
This summer, the Mind Museum allows kids to go behind-the-scenes of their galleries and exhibits in their Junior Mind Mover Program. They’ll be able to discover new sciences as well as join programs that will spark wonder and curiosity.
The Junior Mind Mover program is open to kids ages 4 to 12. There are different categories and activities per age group. Workshops start on March 26 for their Tots age group (Ages 4-6)! Registration is still on-going for their other age groups.

Summer Art Workshops by Young Artists’ Studio

Young Artists’ Studio (YAS) will be hosting Summer art workshops in several venues around the Metro. They’ll be offering programs such as panting, comic & fashion illustration and drawing among others. They have partnered with different art institutions to have bigger venues for the growing art community. They’ll be hosting workshops in Pasig, BGC, Greenbelt, and Alabang – to name a few.
