Ways to Help Marawi City in Mindanao
The siege in Marawi City has undoubtedly left a mark on its citizens and the people of Mindanao as a whole. Families were displaced, people were left scrambling, and the city has become a battleground between the military and members of the Maute group. The conflict prompted President Rodrigo Duterte to declare Martial Law in the entire island of Mindanao.

There are, however, people asking about more than just Martial Law and its implications. People started asking for donations and volunteers to help the citizens of Marawi, led by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Office of the Vice President (OVP).

The DSWD, though not directly asking for donations, is willing to accept donations in cash and in kind. They even released a set of images telling people what they should consider donating:
