  • PSA: DFA Extends Temporary Off-Site Passport Services until Dec 2021
  • The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced this week that the extension of Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) will be available until December 2021.

Last July, Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. led the opening in one of the five TOPS at SM Mall of Asia. He cited that the initiative will help to accommodate additional 2,500+ passport appointment slots per day.

At present, DFA Temporary Offsite Passport Services (TOPS) are located in SM Mall of Asia, SM North EDSA, SM Aura, Robinsons Place Las Pinas, Robinsons Place Magnolia, and Ayala Glorietta 3.

In addition to the 6 TOPS sites in Metro Manila, the DFA also started rolling out regional TOPS facilities. According to DFA, they opened their first regional TOPS facility in Olongapo City (SM Olongapo Downtown) last September and opened a TOPS facility in San Pedro, Laguna (Robinsons Galleria South) this week.

At present, DFA is still working to open more TOPS sites in other regions of the Philippines to serve more Filipinos living outside Metro Manila who is in need of a passport.

Applicants who wish to renew their passport at the TOPS may book their appointments at the official Passport Online Appointment System at passport.gov.ph.
