    This February, The City Cub, in partnership with Miyazaki Gyu, celebrates Miyazaki Gyu Beef Festival at Sakura Japanese restaurant. This is a month-long special dinner that features dishes made with tenderness, love for craftsmanship, and care in presenting Miyazaki Wagyu, Japan’s No. 1 meat.

    Certified by Japan Meat Grading Association and the Wagyu Registry Association in Japan, the Sakura Japanese restaurant is now offering a great meal for its patrons.

    Sakura, The City Club’s Japanese restaurant, has been a favorite of members and guests with its authentic, elevated Japanese cuisine with a modern flair.     Miyazaki Wagyu is high-quality standard beefIt has received international awards for its degree of marbling, firmness, texture, and fat content quality, including the “Wagyu Olympics” where it bested more than 400 entries from 30 locations two consecutive times over the course of a decade.

    You can have exquisite Japanese dishes such as Beef Sashimi, Beef Teppanyaki with Truffled Mashed Potatoes and Sauteed Shiitake Mushrooms, Aburi Beef Sushi with Uni and Ikura, and Beef Tartare.     The Miyazaki Gyu Beef Festival will be a low-key celebration of the prized meat, in line with “new normal” protocols. The City Club follows strict health and sanitation guidelines for the safety of its members, guests, and employees.

    “The Miyazaki Beef Festival this February is the first of its kind for The City Club. Sakura, our Japanese restaurant, will be offering a degustation of premium-cut Miyazaki Wagyu dishes. Our launch night for the Festival is Wednesday, February 10, and it will run through February 28. Book tables as early as now for an intimate Miyazaki Wagyu dinner,” he ended.
