Serbesa MNL is a pop-up restaurant that’s owned and operated by Jazelle Carandang, formerly a sous chef at Rambla. Inspired by hawker food stands in Singapore, she’s slowly taking the metro by storm with her own brand of street food paired with some of the best local craft beers you could possibly find.

SQUASH POPPERS. A crowd favorite whenever Serbesa MNL pops up, sold usually for P160.

Serbesa MNL serves street food that’s taken to an entirely different level. One of the best-sellers is the Squash and Jalapeno Poppers, her personal take on jalapeno poppers. It’s stuffed with cream cheese, mozzarella, and squash blossoms, then breaded and deep-fried to a crisp golden brown. It’s best dipped in the cucumber raita and followed up with a scoop of spicy salsa.

Serbesa MNL does not have its own place, but you can like their Facebook page, Serbesa MNL, or follow them on Instagram (@serbesamnl) to know where they’ll pop up next. Serbesa MNL is also available for caterings and events. To know more, you can call or text 0916-636-8238 or send an email to serbesaph@yahoo.com.
