Boracay and El Nido Earn Top Spot at Tripadvisor’s 2020 Traveler’s Choice Awards
Tripadvisor yearly celebrates its traveler’s choice awards which showcase the most loved travel destinations in the world. From the past year’s traveler’s choice awards, White Beach in Boracay and Nacpan Beach in El Nido landed a spot in the top 25 most loved beaches in Asia.
This year, the beaches re-emerged on the list and this time, both beaches claimed spots in the top 10!

Previously ranking at 9th place, the White Beach in Boracay, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful known white beaches in Asia, easily ascended the list by ranking at 8th place. Located on the west side of the island, the White Beach is divided into three stations.
Boracay’s Station 1 is excellent for swimming and snorkeling. The water in White Beach is shallow and crystal clear making it an easy swimming course for families or for those who love to spend their time leisurely looking at the sunset view.
Along the beach, wide selections of establishments and accommodations depending on your budget are made easily accessible. Some of the famous tourist spots are also within its proximity making the trip worth it!
Meanwhile, located in Station 2 are various seafood markets and affordable restaurants. Additionally, there are also bars and clubs for those who are interested in extending their fun festivities to night-time activities.

Among the three stations, Station 3 is the least crowded. Surrounded by lush green nature and the most affordable accommodations, this place is perfect for those who are in a budget!
On the other hand, the Nacpan Beach in El Nido, having previously rank at 13th place, enters the top 5 as it takes the 4th place of the list this year.

Approximately taking 45 minutes before arriving at Nacpan from the main town of El Nido, the Nacpan Beach—which similarly possesses the white sand beauty of Boracay, easily earns the reputation of being Palawan’s hidden gem.
Loved most by tourists because it “feels like a paradise far from the city,” Nacpan Beach leaves the visitors with ultimate satisfaction!
