AirAsia Resumes Flights to Ho Chi Minh City, Launches Clark-Bohol Route
After being held over for eight months, AirAsia’s Manila to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam will be flying again on March 29, 2020! In addition, the airlines have also announced a new local route from Clark to Bohol and increased flight frequencies for both local and international flights.
Ho Chi Minh City is Air Asia’s 16th destination from Manila. AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla said in a press release, “As an ASEAN airline, we aim to increase regional connectivity and to provide more business and leisure opportunities in Vietnam to our AirAsia guests.”
The city is located in the South of Vietnam and was formerly named Saigon after the trees and dense and tall forest that once surrounded the city. Today, Ho Chi Minh City is a business hub and visited for the beautiful architecture, local cuisine, and historical attractions.
AirAsia also launches the new flight route, Clark to Tagbilaran, Bohol and will operate at the new Panglao International Airport where guests will have easier access to the beach which is only 15 minutes away, perfect for this coming summer period.

Finally, to begin the summer season, AirAsia has announced increased flight frequencies for their Z2 flights which include flights such as Clark-Davao, Clark-Puerto Princesa, Cebu-Davao, and Cebu- Kuala Lumpur.
