    For this matter, specialty grocery stores have acquired their own spaces to serve the diverse community around Metro Manila. It’s worth noting that these specialty stores are not limited to just Asian brands.

    Founded in 2012, the McAsia Foodtrade Corporation is one of the major suppliers of Asian (dry/frozen) food items, kitchen utensils, industrial cookware, and commercial kitchens. They carry items from countries such as Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

    Teppen Korean and Japanese Grocery Store offers imported products from Japan and Korea. The products that they carry range from condiments and chocolates to canned goods and cooking ingredients.     This grocery in Little Tokyo is frequented by locals and foreigners alike primarily because it has almost everything from treats such as candies, snacks, and instant noodles to condiments, frozen food, and personal care items that are not usually available in regular supermarkets.

    It’s also worth noting that the grocery has its in-house restaurant called the Hoka Hoka Bento Ramen Shop that serves affordable and filling dishes.
