Cebu Pacific Announces New Clark-Guangzhou Route
After the recent launch of Shenzen-Cebu route, Cebu Pacific is set to launch flights to Guangzhou, China from Clark International Airport starting November 11, 2019. This will make Cebu Pacific the first Philippine carrier to connect the two cities together.
The new route will cater to the demand for business and leisure travel while enhancing the potential for investments of Central Luzon’s special economic zones including the New Clark City.
With the launch of the Clark – Guangzhou route, Cebu Pacific will be the first carrier to have flights to connect the two cities
The flights will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Flights are set to depart from Clark at 11:35 p.m. while the return flight will depart from Guangzhou at 3:15 a.m. the following day.

Guangzhou, being one of China’s nine National Central Cities, is at the lead of political, cultural, and economic development. Both businessmen and leisure travelers visit the city as it is an ideal destination for retail and popular goods and for sampling the world-renowned Cantonese cuisine.
“With direct air service between Clark and Guangzhou, it will be easier for entrepreneurs and businessmen in the e-commerce space to meet up with suppliers, said Alex Reyes, vice president for Commercial of Cebu Pacific. “They can conveniently attend mega-trade events such as the popular Canton Trade Fair.”

At present, Cebu Pacific flies 27 times weekly between China and the Philippines. They offer direct flights between Shanghai, Manila, and Cebu; as well as Manila and Beijing, Guangzhou, Xiamen, and Shenzhen.
