2 PH Hotels Included in Conde Nast Traveler’s Best Hotels in the World 2019
The Philippines just continuously proves itself to the world in the aspects of tourism and hospitality management!
This time, it is after Edsa Shangri-La Manila and Conrad Manila made the cut in Conde Nast Traveler’s (CNT) 50 Best Hotels in the World 2019 edition.
In this year’s annual Readers Choice Awards, 50 hotels from around the globe were weighed in by a total of 600,000 registered voters.
While Conrad Manila ranked 45th, Edsa Shangri-La Manila does not fare behind as it placed 46th in the list.
Conrad Manila, which opened in 2016, was praised for its “eye-catching design meant to bring to mind the cruise ships that fill the Manila Bay it overlooks.”

CNT also highlighted the hotel’s sustainable hotel design and smart features, which was recognized with a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) award.

Meanwhile, the travel magazine described Edsa Shangri-la Manila as a tropical garden set in the shopping and residential Ortigas Center district, highlighting its equally magnificent cityscape and landscaped gardens.
They also noted the excellent service provided by the hotel, as well as its numerous restaurants and spa.

For the 32nd annual reader’s survey, CNT also released the final list of Best Islands in Asia 2019 wherein Boracay claimed the top spot in the list.
