SCTEX to Increase Toll Starting June 14
Toll rates on Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) are set to increase by Php 0.51 per kilometer beginning June 14, 2019, Friday.

As approved by the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB), Class 1 vehicles traveling from Mabalacat, Pampanga to Tarlac will pay an additional Php 20, while Class 2 vehicles from the same route will have a Php 40 increase in toll. Class 3 vehicles, on the other hand, will experience an increase of Php 60.

Further, motorists traveling between Mabalacat and Tipo will be charged an additional Php 32 for Class 1 vehicles, Php 66 for Class 2 vehicles, and Php 98 for Class 3 vehicles.
The approved toll hike was petitioned by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) back in 2011. It is set to take effect on Friday at 12:01 a.m.
