  • NLEX Corporation will soon implement a toll hike, with an additional Php 10 payment in the open system and Php 0.18 per kilometer in the closed system, starting March 20, 2019. Said increases have been approved by the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB).

    The Php 10 increase is inclusive of the add-on toll rate of Php 6 following the completion of the Harbor Link Segment 10; and Php 4 (open system) and Php 0.18 per kilometer (closed system) from the approved periodic adjustments that were originally due in 2013 and 2015.

    The following are the additional rates for open system traversing within Quezon City to Marilao sections:

    Class 1 (ordinary cars): +Php 10
    Class 2 (buses and small trucks): +Php 23
    Class 3 (large trucks/trailers): +Php 29

    The open system includes high traffic congestion areas like Balintawak, Mindanao Ave., Karuhatan, Valenzuela, Caloocan, Meycauayan and Marilao interchanges and toll plazas.

    Meanwhile, the additional rates for closed system traveling end to end or between EDSA Balintawak to Sta. Ines Mabalacat City are as follows:

    Class 1: +Php 22
    Class 2: +Php 56
    Class 3: +Php 67
