  • Attention, BPI users!

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) issued an advisory last May 30 to its clients that they are set to impose additional fees on BPI’s online and mobile app transactions.

Effective July 1, 2019, the Ayala-owned bank will charge their users Php 10 for money transfers to unenrolled third-party accounts per transaction, and transfers to other banks via Instapay will have Php 50 fee per transaction.

According to the advisory, money transfer to unenrolled accounts via QR code will be free for a limited period only, while the dollar to peso transfer and transfers to own and enrolled accounts will remain free of charge.

BPI also encouraged their clients to enroll their own third-party accounts and sign the Third Party Account Enrollment Form to continue enjoying fund transfer services for free in BPI’s online and mobile transactions.

For instruction on how to create your third-party accounts, visit BPI Express Online’s website.
