  • With a goal to show that Japan and Philippines are countries that are compatible and a perfect match, Japan Foundation in partnership with Fisher Mall held a one-of-a-kind experience called TokyoManiLove last November 25, 2017.

TokyoManiLove is a free event held at Fishermall for people to enjoy. During the event, guests were able to experience the feel of wearing authentic Japanese Kimonos and learned to prepare maki in style through a Maki-art workshop.

There was also a Cosplay contest that had participants going at it in a match parade and performance. In addition, there were also various live band performances and a lot more in store for all young and the young alike.

One of the highlights of the event was the meet and greet with the future cat himself, Doraemon. Aside from that, there was also a comedy show form Japan’s own HPN3 and a number of JPOP performances from JAPh Dolls, Kawaii5, Aisaku, and Mavilon.

Various fun activities were in store for the guests to enjoy. The event ended with the announcement of the winners for the cosplay contest, and a meet and greet with the artists present.
