BDO Unibank is ‘best bank in the Philippines’ – FinanceAsia

BDO is once again named as the best bank in the Philippines at the Country Awards for Achievement 2017 by Hong Kong-based publication FinanceAsia.

In a report by Manila Bulletin, BDO Unibank was chosen by FinanceAsia as the best bank in the Philippines this 2017, “which delivered record 2016 earnings on the back of strong results from its core businesses.” It also mentioned BDO’s strong presence not only in Metro Manila but also in the fast-growing secondary and tertiary cities with its more than 1,100 branches and 3,600+ ATMs nationwide.

Aside from BDO Unibank, BDO Private Bank and BDO Capital & Investment Corporation were also recognized as “Best Private Bank,” ‘Best Investment Bank,” and “Best Equity Capital Markets House.”
