Movies coming out on April
School’s out for the summer, and to those searching for flicks to see when they’re not lazing by the beach, here are the ones which will be shown in various cinemas this month:
APRIL 6
Going in Style

Starring: Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Alan Arkin
Desperate to pay off their bills, three retirees whose pension has become a “corporate casualty” rob the bank that secretly left with their money.
APRIL 15
Can’t Help Falling in Love
Directed by: Mae Cruz-Alviar
Starring: Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla
This new romantic-comedy revolves around Gab (Bernardo) and Dos (Padilla) who are married. She tries to ask for them to have their marriage annulled, but Dos tries to refuse, suggesting that they try what it’s like to live a married life.
F8: The Fate of the Furious
Directed by: F. Gary Gray
Starring: Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and Charlize Theron
With the team living a normal life, a mysterious woman goes to seduce Dom back in the world of crime, leading him to betray his friends and loved ones, facing tests they’ve never had before. This is the eighth instalment to the Fast and Furious franchise.
Personal Shopper
Directed by: Olivier Assayas
Starring: Kristen Stewart, Lars Eidinger, and Sigrid Bouaziz
Personal Shopper is a French psychological thriller film which revolves around Maureen, a personal shopper who serves wealthy clients in big cities. Having the ability to communicate with spirits, she starts to receive ambiguous messages from an unknown source.
The Boss Baby
Directed by: Tom McGrath
Starring: Alec Baldwin, Steve Buscemi, and Lisa Kudrow
Told in his perspective, Tim Templeton lives a perfect life, getting his parent’s full attention, until a new baby brother in a suit arrives. The new baby takes over the house and becomes “the boss”.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Starring: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista
