Aside from the captivating tourist attractions found here in the Philippines, many people also try to go places not so popular for the faint-hearted, that is, the haunted ones. - Diplomat Hotel

Baguio City is known for being one of the most haunted cities in the Philippines, and one of its famous attractions for that is the Diplomat Hotel. Found atop the Dominican Hill, this started out as a Dominican vacation house in 1911 by American Friars, which has been converted into a hotel. According to the former employees and guests, apparitions of headless priests, strange sounds, and voices of screaming people are heard in the now abandoned hotel.
2. Clark Air Base Hospital

Featured in the NatGeo channel, the abandoned Clark Airbase Hospital is a popular haunted place found in Angeles, Pampanga. The said hospital was used during the World War II where most patients were war casualties. The place is known for eeriness, where most paranormal activities take place. It has also been tagged as one of the most haunted places in the world.
- Balete Drive

Balete Drive is the most popular haunted road in Quezon City, which has always been the subject of horror driving stories. People who have passed this two-lane street claim to see a White Lady figure passing through. This White Lady was said to be a ghost of a teenage girl who died at a car accident in the area. The road is also popular because of Spanish houses that line the road and Balete Trees.

Yet another haunted place in Baguio City is the Laperal White House. Built in the 1920s, this house is owned by the Laperal family and was taken over by Japanese soldiers in the World War II. It was said to have been used as a garrison where women were raped and tortured. Some drivers who pass by Leonard Wood road where Laperal is found, claim to see ghostly figures. At present, it is open to the public for viewing.

This haunted place in Manila called the Manila Film Center is known for being the site where a deadly construction accident happened in the 1980s. This accident occurred in November where its scaffolding collapsed and 169 workers were buried alive. A lot of horror movies have filmed in this site, with a novel-turned-movie called Tragic Theater released in honor of the said establishment’s story.
