  • Get tough and bond with your family through fitness this July 22, 2018 at 4 a.m. in the “BBrave Swim and Run for Fun” at the Miriam College campus along Katipunan Ave., Quezon City.

    To join, participants must be a pair of adult and child (Php 900 per head) to take on a 200-m Swim and One Kilometer Run. Each pair must start and end the race together. Participants may use floaters in the swim leg.

    Willing participants may also join in other categories as individuals or mixed pairs. The Solo Category for Php 1,000 is open to individuals aged 7 to 10 years old (200-m Swim and 500-m Run), 11 to 14 years old (400-m Swim and 3 km Run), 15 to 17 years old (600-m Swim and 3km Run), and 18 years and Up (600-m Swim and 5 km Run). The Relay Open Category for Php 900 per head is for male/female/mixed duos who will tackle a 400 Meter Swim and 3 Kilometer Run.

    Organized by the Maryknoll/Miriam College Alumni Association (MMCAA), this fun swim and run event is in support of Miriam College’s “Girls Be Brave” advocacy and a fund-raising project for Project MMARIA, the MMCAA’s Quick Response to Calamities mobilization initiative, as well as athletic scholarships.

    Online registration for the race via www.goorahna.com is extended until July 18, 2018. Race kits may only be claimed on site on July 22 starting at 4:00 a.m. It is inclusive of a swim cap, t-shirt and timing chip. There will be no registration on race day.
