  • Nature: Solo Exhibition of Antonietta Chan
  •  On October 27 2017, ArtistSpace will present NATURE, the solo exhibition of visual artist, Antonietta Chan. Nature shows how her style has evolved from gentle, childlike paintings to what are now bolder strokes and vibrant colors.

It was brought upon by the realization that indeed, global warming is upon our earth.  She believes that each and every one of us has a duty to preserve our environment while also saving the wildlife where some are experiencing near extinction.

Nature represents Anton’s dedicated work for the past year.  It reflects her advocacies, which are educating the less fortunate children, and preserving nature. The proceeds will go to The Hansel & Gretel Foundation, Inc.  This was founded in 1987 by Ms. Carmen Dapilos to enrich the lives of the indigenous peoples, the Aetasof Camarines Sur, by way of education, livelihood programs, and promoting their almost vanishing culture. The guest of honour will be Her Excellency, Vice President Leonora Robredo who herself, is a native of Camarines Sur.

Anton wishes to thank the support of her family.  This body of work is dedicated to her beloved father, the late Antonio Chan.

NATURE will be on view at the ArtistSpace until November 9, 2017.  ArtistSpace is located at the Ayala Museum Annex, Ground Level, Makati Avenue corner De La Rosa Street, Makati City. Admission is FREE.
