  • KAWAII Philippines Book Launch

Taking the Japanese term for cute, Kawaii Philippines is finally ready to unveil the product of their hard work, actions, dreams and beliefs on June 17. An overload of “cuteness”, the first Kawaii PH Book, Book One: Beyond the Cutest Dreams is born, meant to “empower more kawaii enthusiasts and dreamers to be more confident and open about their kawaii selves”.

The brainchild of members and friends of the Kawaii Philippines team, it is the compilation of intangible experiences, stories and bond created throughout the years up to the current status of the organization today. They aim to expand the meaning of kawaii, by promoting it as a lifestyle that makes every individual who lives it unique. The book is meant to shed light to the projects and activities the Kawaii PH team does. The book includes do-it-yourself (DIY) tutorials, dessert recipes and mini-games to name a few of the exciting and cute activities one can try out on their own or with friends. Everything you need to know rolled into one guide.

The team hopes that with the publishing if the documentation of the efforts of all within the Kawaii community, it would bring everyone closer together, like a family. Expect that the book launch would be a fun-filled day of kawaii fun and surprises!

The second season of the Kawaii International program from NHK World is set to premiere soon on Channel 13, with episodes every Wednesday at 9:00 – 10:00 PM and every Sunday at 2:00-3;00 PM, with the special appearance and participation of Kaila Ocampo, Kawaii PH Team Leader.
