Tasting Corner for High Profile Spirits and Wines Now Available in SM Markets
In the past decade, there has been a shift in the way Filipinos consume alcohol. With this, SM Supermalls supports this newfound maturity and sophistication by introducing the Tasting Corner. For a limited time only, enjoy free “perfect serve” samples of premium spirits at the pop-up stores now open in selected SM Supermarkets and Hypermarkets nationwide until November 8.
You will be seeing these free taste stalls on your grocery day at select SM stores!
Rather than consuming large amounts of beer in bars, Filipinos now prefer to purchase smaller amounts of premium brands to drink at home. Blue Mountain, the exclusive supplier of all wine and spirits sold in SM stores, will be offering Johnnie Walker, Hennessy, Jose Cuervo Gold, Fundador, Los Cardos, and Carlo Rossi wine and a selection of other great brands in a perfect serve.

Perfect serve is an old term where the liquor is served on a rocks glass with two ice cubes. It is an older version of neat, alcohol served at room temperature and on the rocks, alcohol served stirred with ice and strained. Most manufacturers recommend the perfect serve as a whole other exciting side that few know even exists.

This new and innovative tasting experience is the first of its kind and SM, celebrating its 60th anniversary, is confident the many will be delighted to grab this rare opportunity as well as new bottles of wines and spirits.
