Among the finalists from 10 ASEAN countries, Sta. Ana, Cagayan’s Palaui Environmental Protectors Association (PEPA) and Basco, Batanes’ Batanes Homestay Association were the successful finalists from the Philippines. The two organizations are already in Singapore to attend the awarding. Both the orgs will be given recognition but only one will be hailed as the grand winner, said Tourism Operations Officer Fanibeth Domingo.
Incentives of the organization will be the promotion of Palaui and Batanes in the Asian tourism promotional materials so that tourists are encouraged to visit the sites.
