Launched on June 9, 2024, and officially opened to the public on June 12, Centro de Turismo Intramuros is located on the historic site of the former San Ignacio Church. Now a dynamic hub for visitors, the center seamlessly blends modern technology with the rich history of Intramuros.

The exhibits provide a unique opportunity to experience the area’s transformation, offering engaging insights into the past, present, and future of the Walled City.
According to the Intramuros Administration, the tourism center is home to a collection of historical artifacts that guide visitors through the different eras of Intramuros—from its pre-colonial beginnings to its pivotal role as a Spanish colonial stronghold, to its near destruction during World War II, and its ongoing efforts for revitalization. The exhibits also highlight the promising future of this historic area.

In addition to its educational exhibits, Centro de Turismo Intramuros is designed as an events space, hosting a variety of activities that further enrich the cultural experience for both locals and tourists alike.
