Commonly Used Filipino Phrases When in School
Filipino students over the years have developed a language when inside a classroom. A classroom is where individuals within the same level/course are gathered for a particular lesson which includes requirements such as home works, projects and exams. It is also a place where discussions take place where a teacher speaks in front while students sit down on their designated seats while listening to a lecture where they can later on apply in their lives.

“Puwedeng humingi ng papel?’’

Translating to: ‘’May I have a piece of paper?’’ This phrase is usually used when a student has forgotten to bring his/her pad paper and he/she is asking one from a fellow classmate.
“Saan ang silid-aralan natin?’’

Translating to: ‘’Where is our classroom?’’ This phrase is usually used when a student is asking which classroom they’ll be using.
‘’Anong oras na?’’
