Coffee Plz at The Corner House, San Juan: A Weekend Celebration of Coffee, Matcha, Music & Community
Something exciting is brewing in San Juan this July as the city hosts the first-ever Coffee Plz — a two-day festival happening on July 12 and 13, 2025, celebrating coffee, matcha, music, and the vibrant culture that brings them all together. Taking place at The Corner House, this inaugural event invites everyone, from curious café-goers to seasoned home brewers, to sip, shop, and share their love for quality beverages and culture.
At the heart of the festival is The Bean Market, featuring 16 of the country’s top local coffee roasters. Guests can meet the makers and sample brews from well-loved names like The Good Cup Coffee Co. (Cebu), Hometown Cafe (Subic), and Bodega Coffee Roasters (Quezon Province), alongside up-and-coming roasters waiting to be discovered.

For those looking to enhance their coffee ritual at home, the Home Brew Coffee Merchants zone offers premium equipment and accessories from trusted names like De’Longhi, Loveramics, Cafec Philippines, Oatbedient, and Standard Supply Studios.
Matcha lovers aren’t left out. The dedicated Matcha Lane features small-batch producers from Manila, each serving their signature blends and bottled creations — a must-visit for fans of this green superfood.
A major highlight is the Philippine AeroPress Championship happening on July 12, where top brewers will compete for the chance to represent the Philippines in Seoul this December. Organized by Yardstick Coffee, it promises to be a high-energy, edge-of-your-seat showdown

The excitement continues on July 13 with Hospitality Heroes, a series of inspiring talks from industry leaders exploring the heart of hospitality and what it means to serve with purpose.
To complete the festival experience, Humm, a weekend-long music lineup curated by Jacob’s Well Chai, will feature performances from shape/shift, KRN_N, Teo Esguerra x Hala, Man!, Pet School, Anbe, and Benito. A special guest band will take the stage at 8:00 p.m. on July 12. Follow @coffeeplz.world for the reveal.
Attendees can also purchase the Coffee Plz Festival Kit, which includes a sampling cup, Php 250 worth of tokens, and limited-edition goodies. Kits are available online at this link.
This is a cashless event powered by Maya, ensuring smooth transactions throughout the weekend. Coffee Plz is proudly presented by Standard Supply Studios, EightyPlus Coffee, and the Philippine Coffee Guild, and organized by Tricia Eusebio-Lim (Yardstick alumna) and Andre Chanco (co-founder, Yardstick Coffee).
More than a festival, Coffee Plz is a love letter to the Philippine café culture — crafted by the very people who live and breathe it.
