Distinct Refinements: Painting from the Provinces highlights the creative niceties of homegrown artists from the regions and practices that originated and developed independently from expressions in Manila.

Encompassing works from the turn of the century to the contemporary, the paintings depict rustic sceneries, portraiture, religious themes, and variations of the letras y figuras.
