Local film buffs rejoice as the Cinematheque Center Manila is now officially open!

Manila’s newest film center, located along TM Kalaw Avenue in Manila, will open its doors to the public with a screening of the Lino Broca classic Maynila sa mga Kuko ng Liwanag (1975) on January 8. Enderun Colleges kicked off the holiday season with its first Christmas tree lighting ceremony called At First Light. The 22-foot structure features an eco-friendly Christmas tree made from bamboo and abundantly adorned with upcycled ornaments, LED lights and Liter of Light. The College collaborated with different groups to create its eco-friendly and sustainable Christmas tree. The ornaments were handcrafted by two communities – the newspaper ornaments were made by the talented women of Pook Galatia in Paranaque City, supported by Kabisig ng Kalahi Foundation; while the décor made from soda caps were assembled by the Gawad Kalinga Community of Sitio Pajo in Barangay Baesa in Quezon City.
