Its lunch set menu features classic Japanese favorites, including its best-sellers, the Sashimi Teishoku and Sukiyaki Teishoku.
The Sashimi Teishoku is a visually striking lunch set that features five kinds of sashimi including tuna, hamachi, salmon, tai, ika, and tako, along with tempura, rice, miso soup, and side dishes. Fresh and sliced to order, the sashimi offers a clean, delicate sweetness and a soft, buttery texture that highlights the quality of the fish. Each piece is served with the kind of precision that allows its natural flavor to stand out, making the set both elegant and deeply satisfying.

The Sukiyaki Teishoku, on the other hand, offers a hearty and comforting meal featuring tender U.S. sirloin simmered in Tsukiji’s signature sweet soy sauce, prepared using the same recipe the restaurant has used since opening. It also includes assorted vegetables, tofu, and konnyaku, a traditional Japanese food made from the corm of the konjac plant.

The lunch set menu has been part of Tsukiji for more than 35 years and is now being relaunched to further welcome the Japanese community back for business lunches, meetings, and family dining. Leading Tsukiji’s kitchen are Chef Takashi Harima and Chef Kazuhisa Shoji, two seasoned chefs whose extensive experience reinforces the restaurant’s commitment to authentic Japanese dining.
Recently joining the team is Chef Harima, whose career reflects a strong foundation in both culinary technique and hospitality. He began in a kappo-style restaurant, where he gained experience not only in the kitchen but also in service, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the dining experience.
In his 30s, while working under a major restaurant group, he moved into management. After the COVID-19 pandemic, he relocated to Davao, where his Filipino wife resides. Following a period of exploring new opportunities, he eventually found his place at Tsukiji, bringing with him a distinctive blend of craftsmanship, leadership, and international perspective.

Meanwhile, Chef Shoji began his culinary journey in Japan at a hotel in Hakone shortly after high school, later refining his craft in Ginza before taking his expertise overseas to Saipan. Around the age of 30, he spent a decade in Japan devoted to sushi, further deepening his mastery of the discipline.
His career eventually brought him to various parts of the world, including Hong Kong, the Maldives, New Zealand, France, and Tonga, where he served as a resident chef for the Japanese ambassador.
