  • The food and hotel industry in the Philippines is growing continuously as more and more establishments are being opened across the country. The influx of foreign brands accompanied by the growing affluence of consumers has greatly contributed to the growth of the sector, which in turn has provided greater opportunities for exports of foreign products to the Philippines.

    Now in its second year, the Food & Hotel Expo Manila (FHEM) will happen on February 21 to 23, 2020 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay, this year’s FHEM aims to showcase different Filipino cuisine with the theme “Rediscovering the Flavours North and South Culinary Fusion.”

    FHEM visitors will be treated to exciting events. Apart from the countless raffles and giveaways, the event will also be hosting a Culinary Master Class that features live cooking demos from the expo’s featured chefs. These classes and demos will showcase the beauty and significance of different Filipino delicacies.

    There will also be a live cooking competition that is open to home cooks and culinary students as well as a video competition that showcases the beauty and significance of different native Filipino delicacies.

    There will be a series of talks by a distinguished set of speakers such as celebrity chefs, trainers, assessors, and panelists who will be exploring the opportunities and challenges of the food and hotel industry while featuring the latest food services, equipment, and technologies in the F&B sector.

    FHEM, apart from their many exciting activities, also gives visitors access to business network opportunities where industry players can come together, interact, and even collaborate on the promotion and the strengthening of the country’s food, beverage, and hotel sector.

    The Food and Hotel Expo Manila will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on February 21 to 23, 2020 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay. Tickets are priced at Php 50 for those who registered online and Php 80 for walk-in.
