  • It’s the last quarter of 2019, and Netflix still keeps surprising everyone with binge-worthy films and series! So ready your popcorns for a little quality time with friends and families (or maybe just yourself!).

    Here are some of the Netflix releases this September 2019:

    A Dog’s Way Home

    Based on the novel of the same name A Dog’s Way Home by W. Bruce Cameron, a puppy named Bella finds herself in the arms of Lucas, a young man who then becomes her owner. However, the puppy is separated from Lucas and embarks on a 400-mile journey to reunite with her master. Along the way, she meets new friends and manages to bring a bit of joy into their lives.

    Elite: Season 2

    While nothing much has been revealed about the second season of this Netflix Original Elite, the teasers have shown that someone else goes missing, while Samuel tries to prove Nano’s innocence. New faces are also expected to appear at Las Encinas.

    The Spy: Limited Series

    The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco: Season 1

    Set in the mid-1950s during the time of social change, The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco follows four gifted women who have extraordinary intelligence, a capacity for pattern recognition, and smarts for decryption. Years after serving as code-breakers during WWII, they utilize their skills in solving murders that have been overlooked by the police. These remarkable women achieve justice, not just for the victims but also for themselves as they pave new lives in the wider world.

    Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020: Part 1

    Reminiscent of reality shows like America’s Big Brother, Terrace House gives audiences a refreshingly new perspective. Co-produced by Netflix, this unscripted show brings six strangers to live together in a house to try and find love. The people invited ranges from normal folk to celebrities, making for a very interesting mix.

    Evelyn

Einsiedel and his two other siblings buried the trauma when their brother Evelyn—who suffered from intense depression and was diagnosed with schizophrenia—took his own life at 22. Over a decade later, they set out on a hiking tour to visit the landscapes that Evelyn used to walk, to reflect on his life and death. The documentary navigates the arduous yet rewarding attempt to navigate through collective trauma.

    Bill Burr: Paper Tiger

    Bill Burr, one of America’s fastest-rising comedians, wields his sharp with this Netflix Comedy Special titled Paper Tiger. Burr unloads on outrage culture, male feminism, and cultural appropriation, among other topics.

    The I-Land: Limited Series

    The I-Land tells the story of ten people who wake up on a precarious island with no memory of who they are or how they got there.
