Follow These Feng Shui Tips When Buying a Car This Year of the Pig
We Filipinos like to believe in certain premonitions this only shows that we want the best out of a situation.
One of these is the Feng Shui, an ancient Chinese tradition which revolves around having good fortune. With the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) also coming to a close, the MIAS team asked Feng Shui Maxima Tiu what to keep in mind when buying a car this “Year of the Pig.”
Right Reason for Buying
Tiu said before purchasing such investment one must carefully assess the reason for purchase. Although, if the person has enough money to buy the car —whatever the purpose it might be— the person can proceed to buy a car.
Determining one’s element
In the Feng Shui tradition, it is required to know what is your element, such as your animal sign or birth year. If you don’t know your elements, you may check yours here.
Once you know your elements, you may now proceed to select from the lucky colors of the year that matches your element! Choosing the right color of the car basing on the feng shui is said to repel bad adversaries.
Choosing the lucky color
We have the guide in choosing the right color for your respective elements that you should follow if you’re going according to the feng shui rules.
For the wood elements, you must select colors between green and red, avoid picking color white!
For metal elements, it is advised to avoid bright colors such as red, yellow, and orange which are said to lead to mood instability. Pick colors that come in white, black, or blue.
Meanwhile, for water elements, avoid choosing bright colors and only stick to cooler hues like black, green, and blue.
Fire elements may choose bright colored cars like yellow, red, and orange but are advised to not pick cooler colors such as green, black, and blue.
Lastly for earth elements, choose only hues of white, red, and brown avoid cool toned cars.
Same color rules apply to accessories and other parts. Tiu stressed that feng shui only serves as a guide for a person’s luck. They may always choose in their free will in any life decisions.
The biggest and most anticipated car and motor expo in the nation, MIAS is celebrating its 15th year on April 4-7 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the World Trade Center Manila and North Wing of the Venue.
