Speech-Language Therapy for Children and Adults
Dr. Adrienne De La Cruz initially became a speech-language therapist to satisfy her parents, but when she entered the field, her appreciation and love for the field came into fruition. The fact that she can help people find their voice was something that helped her realize that the field is purposeful; especially at the times when she and her patients are seeing the development during a case.
Some of the patients that come to her are those with speech problems due to traumatic brain injury, stroke, or organic voice diseases. Some of the conditions she handled for both adults and children include voice disorders, swallowing disorders, and other language orders. Meanwhile, in pediatrics, Cerebral Palsy, ASD and ADHD are some of the cases that she works with.
She is currently completing her master’s degree in Language and Literary Education. Currently, she is a consultant at Makati Medical Center while running her own Therapy and Learning Center. At Makati Medical Center, she accommodates both in and out-patients at the Center for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) and the Center for Pediatric Development and Rehabilitation (CPDR). She is the proprietor of A · Works Therapy and Learning Center which she established to provide more options for affordable and quality treatment.
