  • Good news for all the drivers and passengers! You can now drive and travel with ease as Department of Transportation (DOTr) Autosweep (SLEX) RFIDs can now be used on North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), and Cavite Expressway (Cavitex).

This is Phase One of DOTR’s Toll Interoperability project to make using the country’s toll roads more convenient for everyone. The agency also advised drivers to maintain both an Easytrip and Autosweep RFID account until the project can be fully implemented. You can get an Autosweep RFID at TOTAL Kawit, Paranaque Southbound POS in Cavitex or the Balintawak Customer Service Center in NLEX.

With signing up, you’ll need to pay Php 500 for the initial load and wait for three days for its activation. For those who have both Autosweep and Easydrive/Easytrip RFID tags on your car, just keep them and go forward with the dual tag setup. If you decide on deactivating your Easytrip RFID in exchange for a one-tag, dual account setup is also convenient for you.

They are now working on their second phase which lets you use your Easytrip cards at the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) and San Miguel Corporation (SMC)-owned expressways including the SLEX, Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX), South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), and the Skyway.
