  • In a report by GMA News, it was announced that the Philippines will be the host for the 4th international religious gathering of Divine Mercy devotees and promoters called “World Apostolic Conference on Mercy (WACOM)” on January 16 to 20, 2017.

    The event will be held in several dioceses across the country, including Manila, Batangas, Bulacan, and Bataan. Delegates will be visiting the Manila Cathedral, University of Santo Tomas, National Shrine and Parish of Padre Pio, and National Shrine and Parish of the Divine Mercy.

    According to wacom4.com, WACOM offers an opportunity for everyone to be oriented to the Filipino’s lived faith in Jesus, the Divine Mercy Incarnate, with the Philippines known as the foremost Catholic Country in Southeast Asia.

    WACOM was first held at the Vatican in Rome, Italy on April 2 to 6, 2008 led by its President, Christoph Cardinal Schonborn, O.P., where more than 4,000 delegates gathered from all over the world.
