Midnight Vax to Commence in Taguig This Week
After the successful trial period of “Bakuna Nights” in Quezon City, the city of Taguig decided to follow suit and will start their very own midnight vaccination program anytime this week.
According to Philippine News Agency (PNA), Taguig City Mayor Lino Cayetano explained that it is a response to President Rodrigo Duturte’s call to open vaccination sites even at night.
“There should be not much concern about workers getting vaccinated beyond curfew hours. They can simply show their appointment slips to the enforcers if needed,” said Cayetano.

In addition, Cayetano reiterated that all appointments for vaccination can be arranged through TRACE (Taguig Registry for Access and Citizen)
“Vaccination should be fast, safe, and accessible. Those three things are important to us when we strategize our rollout plan.” he said.
Meanwhile, he noted that Bonifacio High Street mega vaccination hub is solely dedicated to those workers under the A4 Category.

“I encourage all our citizens to sign up and register so that by November, with supply from the national government, we will be able to finish vaccination in Taguig and open up to the rest of the National Capital Region,” he ended.
Some 238,853 residents and workers have been vaccinated in Taguig as of last Saturday, nearly half of its 680,000 target this year.
