“A decision has been made to redirect our focus entirely on our core LalaMove delivery business, ” said LalaFood in a Facebook post on Monday, February 8. “We express our deepest gratitude to all of LalaFood’s customers for your continued support, and to our partner riders and merchants who were with us throughout this journey,” the management added.

They said that LalaMove will focus on their growth and strengthening their investment in the Philippines this year to better serve their customers and provide more opportunities for rider-partners and employees.

Expansion plans are in development in Manila and Pampanga this month, as they “place great confidence in the Philippine market and that they are excited for what lies ahead in 2021.”

“The year is just unfolding and there is so much in store for us all,” they added.

Launched in the Philippines in 2018, LalaFood is the courier service provider LalaMove’s food delivery arm, providing its services across various cities in Southeast Asia, India, and mainland China.
