LIST: Official 2021 Holidays in the Philippines
Ever since the pandemic has changed the world, a lot of people are looking forward to the next year with so much hope and optimism for a better year.
Although it is relatively too early to bring out some goodness for 2021, simple things such as holidays and long weekends are definitely something to look forward to.
Under Proclamation 986, the President signed and declared the regular holidays and special non-working days for the year 2021:
February
- February 12 – Chinese New Year (Special non-working holiday)
- February 25 – EDSA People Power Revolution (Special non-working holiday)
April
- April 1 – Maundy Thursday
- April 2 – Good Friday
- April 3 – Black Saturday (Special non-working holiday)
- April 9 – Araw ng Kagitingan
May
- May 1 – Labor Day (Saturday)
- May 13 – Eidul Fitr*
June
- June 12 – Independence Day (Saturday)
July
- July 20 – Eidul Adha*
August
- August 21 – Ninoy Aquino Day (Saturday) (Special non-working holiday)
- August 30 – National Heroes Day
November
- November 1 – All Saints Day (Special non-working holiday)
- November 2 – All Soul’s Day (Special non-working holiday)
- November 30 – Bonifacio Day
December
- December 8 – Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary (Special non-working holiday)
- December 24 – Christmas Eve (Special non-working holiday)
- December 25 – Christmas Day
- December 30 – Rizal Day
- December 31 – New Year’s Eve (Special non-working holiday)
