  • GrabWheels: Free Eco-Friendly and Sustainable E-Scooter Around Town
  • Ride easily around town with GrabWheels e-scooters now available in Uptown, Taguig and soon in other central business districts in the Metro.

Grab Philippines has launched its first free scooter rentals in Uptown, Taguig. With these e-scooters, you’ll be contributing to a greener environment as well as avoid traffic!

To use, download the free GrabWheels app available on the App Store and Google Play. Your mobile must also have the Grab app installed where it is required to link to your GrabPay account.

The e-scooter rental is free for its pilot launch. You can claim 5 rides as a “Starter Plan” for Php 0. Grab has not announced when the paid services will start.

Next, use the in-app map to scan for nearby e-scooters. For now, GrabWheels is only available at Uptown, Taguig with parking spaces at Uptown Mall.

There will be a staff who will ask for a government ID with photo for security for the e-scooter to be returned. Scan to unlock the e-scooter with the GrabWheels app, wear the helmet provided, then start your ride!

There are a few safety reminders when riding the Grab e-scooters such as wearing close-toed shoes and to ride only on sidewalks or cycling paths.

The maximum rental time is 2-hours or when the scooter is low on battery (<15%). When you are done, return the e-scooter on the same parking space by scanning the parking QR and claim your ID from the staff.

For now, GrabWheels is at a pilot launch with Megaworld Corporation and is only available at Uptown Mall, Taguig. Grab is expected to partner with local government units (LGUs) to launch the same service in other areas.

Download GrabWheels for free at the App Store and Google Play.
