The Hazards App was first introduced by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), as part of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and Red Cross’ Global Disaster, on December 1, 2016.

Aside from giving instant information about the dangers in your area and tips on how to reduce risks at home and in the community, the said app also provides guidance on how to respond and what to do during an emergency.

Just recently, PRC Chairman Senator Richard Gordon encouraged netizens to download the app to keep everyone updated on alerts and preparations on the different disasters brought upon the Philippines such as typhoons, earthquakes, and the likes.

Restoring Family Links has also been introduced as a new program that aims to reconnect families and relatives in and out of the country who have lost contact through conflicts or catastrophes.

By just downloading the app, you may be able to save your life and the lives of other people around you. The Hazards App is available on Play Store, App Store, and Apk Pure.
