  • Local Airline Carriers Resume Flight Operations During GCQ Until August 31
  • Following the announcement of general community quarantine (GCQ) in Metro Manila and its surrounding provinces, local airline carriers AirAsia, Philippine Airlines (PAL), and Cebu Pacific have resumed their local and international flights until August 31.

In AirAisa’s latest advisory, available domestic and international flights for the rest of the month are the following:

Refunds are available to those whose flights were canceled due to the implementation of modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) last August 4 to 18.

Customers with existing flight bookings from March 23 to August 31 which were canceled by the airline can either choose between a Credit Account with a 2-year validity period or unlimited flight changes until October 31, 2020.

Meanwhile, PAL recommences their scheduled domestic services to and from Manila from August 19 onwards. Some of the international flights that have resumed are routes to Los Angeles, San Fransisco, New York, Toronto, Honolulu, London, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo (Haneda), Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Dubai, Taipei, and more.

PAL’s domestic flights from Cebu, Manila, Laoag, Iloilo, and Bacolod to select provinces in the country have also continued.

For a full list of flight details, you may check PAL’s advisory on its website.

Cebu Pacific intends to operate its international flights to Dubai, Seoul, Tokyo (Narita), Singapore, and Taipei. However, all other Cebu Pacific international flights remain canceled until the end of the month.

They also carry on with Cebu Pacific and Cebgo’s domestic passenger flights to and from Manila. You may check their latest advisory for the list of local and international flights here: cebupacificair.com.
