As the enhanced community quarantine extends in Metro Manila and other high-risk places as an effort to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, many flights have either been rescheduled and canceled to support this endeavor.

The Embassy further states that they plan to resume visa services as soon as possible. However, as of posting the announcement, they are unable to provide a specific date as to when operations will resume.
The U.S. Embassy further advises those who have appointments on the affected dates to reschedule them when the ECQ is lifted in Metro Manila. They may do so by calling the Embassy’s call center at 02-7792-8988 or by visiting the online appointment system at ustraveldocs.com/ph.
Take note that those who will be rescheduling their appointments will not be charged for it as appointment and visa application fees are valid for one (1) year in the country where it was paid for.
Apart from the United States, it can be recalled that Japan also suspended 750,000 single entry and multiple entry visas issued by March 27 from the Philippines and 10 other countries amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
