Quiccs and Adidas Celebrates Superstar’s 50th Anniversary with a New Collection
Adidas collaborates with Filipino toy designer, Quiccs, to launch a new sneaker collection in celebration of Superstar’s 50th anniversary! Along with the collection, Adidas also released the Superstar LACELESS.
Launched last February 13, the Philippine-exclusive Superstar bundles not only include the sneaker but also comes with a NanoTEQ to match!

Quiccs, born Juanito Maiquez, is a Filipino toy artist who is most known for his work on vinyl figures. His style comes from his love for Japanese robot characters and with his creative style, he has represented the Philippines in many international events.
He is the first Filipino artist to collaborate with Adidas, which only adds to the rarity and the demand for this collection.
Quiccs with the new Superstar collection
The collection will include the sneakers and a NanoTEQ, one of the toy figures that Quiccs is most known for. It’s worth noting that this collection features the Superstar in Blue and Orange (Php 4,800) that’s ideal for those who are into playful kicks. What’s more, you’ll also get a NanoTEQ in matching colors!
The Superstar look is inspired by Run DMC with the design staying true to its roots with the three stripes, the classic Adidas gold logo, and the iconic shell toe.

This collection also saw the release of the Superstar LACELESS (Php 5,800) that also come with a matching NanoTEQ! The sneakers come in black and white and are ideal for those who are going for a chic look. The laceless sneakers are supported by an elastic band in the shoes’ interior so you don’t have to worry about them getting lost.
However, if you feel that you need to lace up, the bundle comes with extra laces so you can customize your look!
Superstar LACELESS (Php 5,800)
Do keep in mind that the Philippine-exclusive Superstar bundles are only available until February 26 and is only available at Sole Academy BGC, NBHD Bonifacio High Street, NBHD Ayala Bay, and selected Adidas stores and retailers.
