CALAX to Close Temporarily from January 28 to 31, February 4 to 7
With the opening of the first 10-kilometer segment of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) in late 2019, traveling from Santa Rosa City, Laguna to the Silang-Tagaytay City interchange has undoubtedly become faster and easier.
However, as the road is still not 100% finished, CALAX will be closed for a few days in January and February to give way for construction operations.
According to an advisory made by the Metro Pacific Tollway Corporation, CALAX will be closed to motorists from January 28 to 31, 2020, and February 4 to 7, 2020, at 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. This is to give way to clearing and construction operations.

Through its eight interchanges, CALAX will connect several towns and cities that will accelerate the growth of business and tourism in the region.
The freeway’s eight interchanges include the Kawit Interchange, Open Canal Service Road Interchange, Governor’s Drive Interchange, Silang East Interchange, Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Interchange, Laguna Boulevard Interchange, Technopark Interchange, and the Laguna Toll Barrier.
