PH Manufacturers Joins Ambiente 2020 in Germany
Filipino creativity will be recognized once again in the global scene as Philippine manufacturers will participate in the world’s leading trade fair Ambiente 2020, which will take place at Messe Frankfurt, Germany on February 7 to 11, 2020.
Twenty four strong furniture and home décor manufacturers under the Lifestyle Philippines brand will put the spotlight on handcrafted and carefully-made products that tell a story of purpose, emphasizing on this year’s fundamental message, “Hands That Work.”
This is in line with the celebration of the promising talent of Filipinos to produce creative and useful crafts made from natural and sustainable raw supplies as well as from old and waste materials.
The participation features various techniques to create refined local products—making names locally and internationally.

Lifestyle Philippines highlights the businesses, which represent the best of the Philippines’ home and fashion aspect—led by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), an attached agency of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
“We are a country of artisans. Our ancestors, up to our modern lineage, are weavers, sculptors, and artists who produce objects that excite the global market. Therefore, we are strongly rallying behind our exporters and helping them promote in the international arena through trade shows like Ambiente,” CITEM Executive Director Pauline Suaco-Juan said.
Meanwhile, Ambiente 2020 is the world’s leading trade fair for consumer goods featuring tableware, kitchenware, household goods, gifts, interior decoration, and interior design. On top of that, 4,500 exhibitors from 92 countries will participate in the anticipated global trade fair.
Exhibitors of Manila FAME, the Philippines’ premier design and lifestyle event, aims to join Ambiente, which serves as an avenue for Manila FAME to continually introduce Filipino products to the global scene.
The participation of the Philippines is possible with the help of DTI, through CITEM and in coordination with the Philippine Trade and Investment Center-Berlin.
