  • This year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars is happening on December 22, 2019 and will be hosted by the City of  Taguig. The annual parade showcases creative floats carrying celebrities who star in the MMFF official entries.

    Through their official Facebook page, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has advised motorists to avoid major roads in Taguig, which may be affected by the parade that will start at 12 noon.

    The route of the parade will begin and end at the McKinley West Park Open Grounds and will encompass the following roads and streets:

    • Lakeshore C-6
    • M.L. Quezon Avenue,
    • MRT Avenue
    • Cuasay
    • CP Garcia Service Road
    • Upper Mckinley Road
    • Lawton Avenue-5th Street
    • Mckinley Parkway
    • 32nd Street
    • 7th Avenue
    • 26th Avenue
    • Le Grand Avenue
    • Chateau Road

    In line with this, take note of the road closures to be implemented at ML Quezon (from Dr. A. Santos to MRT), along MRT (from M.L Quezon to Cuasay), Cuasay (from MRT to C-5), and C-5 Service Road cor. Cayetano Boulevard. MMDA has advised motorists to take alternate routes.

    Vehicles will also be allowed to counterflow along Upper Mckinley Road from C-5 to Lawton Ave., Lawton-5th Street from Upper Mckinley to Mckinley Parkway, and along 32nd Avenue (from Mckinley Parkway to 7th Avenue).

    Lastly, stop and go traffic scheme will be implemented at C-5-Upper Mckinley, C-5 Service Road-Sampaguita bridge, and Mckinley Parkway-26th Avenue.
    By 7 p.m., all affected roads will be opened.
