  • Commuting during the holiday season is undeniably more difficult than usual with bigger crowds outside rushing to accomplish their Christmas shopping lists or people making their way to countless holiday parties. That’s why it is always best to know traffic schemes and schedules in observance of the season.

    To keep you guided, here are the holiday schedules of the MRT-3, LRT-1, and LRT-2 that you should take note of:

    The LRT-2, LRT-1. and the MRT-3

    MRT-3

    December 16 to 20, 23, 26, and 27

    North Avenue Station

    4:40 a.m. 9:10 p.m.
    Taft Avenue Station

    5:41 a.m. 10:11 p.m.

    December 21, 22, 28 to 30

    North Avenue Station

    December 24 and 31

    North Avenue Station

    December 25

    North Avenue Station

    January 1

    January 2 and 3

    LRT-1

    LRT-1 has extended its train service hours since the beginning of December until the 31st. However, take note that this is not applicable on December 24 to 25 and 30 to 31, which will have an earlier schedule for the last train coming from Baclaran and Roosevelt.

    LRT-2

    The LRT-2 will only be changing their operating schedules on December 24 and December 31 implementing an earlier schedule for the last trains coming from Cubao and Recto.
