YouTube Music and YouTube Premium Launched in the PH
Google’s online video platform, YouTube, has finally launched YouTube Music and YouTube Premium in the Philippines with free-to-download and paid versions on November 14.
First introduced in 2018, YouTube Music is a free-to-download app with official songs, albums, playlists, artist radio, and podcasts. It also has a regular YouTube collection of live performances, covers, and music videos.
On the other hand, for those who want an offline and uninterrupted stream of music and videos, YouTube Premium is available.
Users will be able to enjoy their music even when using other apps or while the phone is locked. The paid subscription also allows subscribers to save and download videos and music to enjoy offline.
There is an option for YouTube Premium Family that can be used by 5 other users who live in the same household or residential address. Another option is the YouTube Student membership for students enrolled in select schools and institutions
Only first-time YouTube Red, Music Premium, YouTube Premium, and Google Play Music subscribers are eligible for free trials, introductory offers or promotional pricing. To learn more about the app requirements, visit YouTube Help.
