  • Säntis Delicatessen Holds In-Store Food and Wine Tasting Featuring Olmeda Origenes Products
  • Säntis Delicatessen brought the owner and brand ambassador of Olmeda Origenes Jesús Peláez to select branches for an in-store food and wine tasting from September 9 to 14, 2019—in conjunction with their Taste of Spain promo.

Säntis Delicatessen’s food tasting event features Olmeda Origenes, a Spanish deli brand that supplies a wide variety of food from Spain, which exudes exceptional quality at reasonable prices.

    Olmeda Origenes

The concept of Olmeda came from Jesús Peláez’s hometown—Olmeda de las Fuentes, a small village in Madrid, Spain where good quality Spanish products came from.

They are a known supplier of traditional Spanish food like cured hams, cold meat, artisan cheeses, canned fish, seasonings and spices, and more.

Peláez showed various ways of preparing and presenting all the Olmeda products while discussing each product to the customers. He made use of Olmeda’s prime products such as ham, cheese, anchovies, sardines, and Spanish seasonings.

The main highlight was Jamon Serrano bone-in (Php 2,144/kg), which is included in Säntis’ Taste of Spain raffle promo.

There was also the famous Manchego (Php 2,108/kg) cheese named after one of the fictional characters of Spanish poet Miguel Cervantes’ Don Quixote novel.

The Mahon and San Simon da Costa cheeses are now available in Säntis Delicatessen

Other products used in the food tasting were Vinagre de Jerez (Sherry Vinegar), Aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra (Extra Virgin Olive Oil), Manzanilla Olive, and Mojo Ayanato Red Spicy Sauce.

Meanwhile, two Spanish wines were featured during the in-store wine tasting, including Marqués de la Concordia’s Rioja Tempranillo red wine and Vega-Reina Verdejo white wine.

Both are available in discounted prices until September 15 only.
